Clearing a Reinforced Driveway in Guasti
A homeowner in Guasti called us staring at a cracked driveway that looked like a spiderweb. Poured during the 80s airport expansion, that concrete was thick, rebar-reinforced, and incredibly heavy. They tried hauling a pickup load, but the sheer weight nearly blew out their suspension. They required a container capable of handling the tonnage without cracking the adjacent sidewalk on delivery.
I sent our 10-yard lowboy, specifically designed for dense aggregates like concrete. We laid down thick plywood protection to keep the street pristine before dropping the bin. Our driver swapped the full bin for an empty one in twenty minutes, ensuring the demolition crew maintained momentum. We hauled the final load away, leaving the site ready for the new pour.
Euclid Avenue Roll-Offs handled the weight without damaging my curb, and the swap-out was fast.
